Spend a week exploring the heart of Mexico during one of the most exciting weeks of the year – Dia de los Muertos!
During this trip, you will visit Mexico City, experience Day of the Dead festivities and cross things off your bucket list!
In Mexico, Day of the Dead is not a sombre experience, but a time to celebrate life and the loved ones no longer with us. It is joyous and festive, and presents death and loss in a positive light. Death is viewed as a transition and change. This sacred holiday reminds us to appreciate what we have while we have it, and not to fear change that is inevitable, but to celebrate it and welcome new beginnings.
For you, this is an opportunity to celebrate too.
During your retreat, you will set intentions for changes you wish to make in your life. You will be able to recognize what once served you, and celebrate your own new beginnings.
Mexico City Day of the Dead Retreat
8 Days, 7 Nights I Starting at $2850
October 30 – Nov 6, 2025
What is Day of the Dead?
The Day of the Dead is celebrated in Mexico where people celebrate life and honor their loved ones who have passed. It reminds us that our time on Earth is limited, so we must live our lives to the fullest, with intention!
It’s a joyful celebration – the Mexicans believe that the afterlife is as important, or even more important than your life on Earth.
Witnessing the celebrations and rituals is a moving experience. Join us and be part of the celebrations – see the Day of the Dead parade, learn to make your own Catrina mask from a local artist and watch how local families honor their loved ones who have moved on to the afterlife.

After many years of working in tech marketing and feeling unfulfilled, a medical leave prompted Kimberley Chan to go places – She knew she needed to do something different, but she didn’t know what. She decided to listen to her intuition and do something that she had always wanted to do – travel long-term.
She ended traveling for 1.5 years, which allowed her to cross many things off her bucket list: teach English in Spain, live in a traditional Moroccan riad, ride a camel in the Sahara Desert, take classes with a professional artist in Hong Kong, take a care of elephants in Thailand, eat chocolate under the Eiffel Tower and more.
The adventures she had made me feel extremely rejuvenated and motivated, like she could tackle anything. She also learned a lot, saw things from different perspective and understood what it meant to truly connect with people. And now, she wants to help you do the same: cross things off your bucket lists, live your best life and connect with people who understand you.
